Blake Cooper

Blake Cooper is a founding partner of Pioneering Network. Blake brings decades of experience in the world of computers and emerging technologies to Pioneering Network. A lifelong technologist, Blake understands and appreciates the differences between raw technology and applied technologies. If new innovations cannot be harnessed and integrated seamlessly with traditional structures and workflows, they are not practical in the real world.

Blake aims to bring innovative applied solutions to our clients with a keen eye toward the integration of traditional workflows and emerging technologies.

Prior to joining Pioneering Network, Blake most recently held a similar role at a DC-based IT firm where he managed and oversaw integrated Microsoft/VMware/Apple environments for clients in the business, nonprofit, and political fields.

A native Washingtonian, Blake holds an undergraduate degree from Brown University in addition to various industry certifications.

Jeff Hertzog

Jeff Hertzog is a founding partner of Pioneering Network. Jeff brings the better part of two decades of innovative technology experience to Pioneering Network. During his time in the industry, Jeff has worked in both the private and public sectors with a variety of clients, including emerging small businesses and nonprofits. By taking time to get to know his clients, Jeff designs industry and client-specific technology solutions to streamline business practices, take advantage of limited technology budgets, and implement appropriate solutions.

Jeff comes to Pioneering Network having served, most recently, as the lead technologist at a thriving managed service program in Central Virginia. During his time there, he designed and implemented numerous large-scale physical to virtual network conversions for county school systems and governments, as well as large private sector business clients. He integrated the latest offerings from VMware, Microsoft, HP, and Dell to provide his clients with major cost savings, integrated management, and failover and redundancy through practical, green solutions.

Jeff brings an understanding of diverse business environments and needs to Pioneering Network, where he designs cutting-edge solutions and manages client relationships.

Jeff holds undergraduate and advanced degrees from Clemson University and the University of Kentucky in addition to numerous industry certifications.
